The film
From Henry Maudslay's lathe to Coventry 2026.
The idea
Founded 1901 in Parkside, Coventry — with lineage to engineer Henry Maudslay (1771–1831), father of the screw‑cutting lathe — Maudslay marks 125 years in 2026.
- Every Maudslay car shares one thing: the round brass M nose (grille), made in Coventry.
- You buy a numbered spaceframe and the nose. Through a membership you build your car with step‑by‑step tutorials and Maudslay‑supplied parts.
- World craft makers — coachwork, leather, wheels, paint — offer their work in the Maudslay configurator, so every car is different.
- All cars are right‑hand drive or centre seat. Design studies only.
